After over 80 years at the Jersey Shore, the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor was due for a real logo treatment. The catch… all options needed to include their burgee (the distinctive flag of a recreational boating group). I developed updated burgee art and created options that ranged from old maritime to contemporary. The club navigated to a version that was both traditional and updated. I then applied the logo to everything from envelopes and letterhead to billing invoices and restaurant reservation cards. (Final design shown above some of the options originally presented.)
