Unlike most of the studies done for ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group that are very technical, TMIST is fairly straightforward and easy to comprehend. It compares two types mammograms, standard 2-D digital and newer 3-D, for their ability to help diagnose and reduce advanced breast cancer. The original direction was to develop consumer-oriented branding, but in the end what they wanted with was something much more clinical (and a lot less fun). (All designs shown are preliminary layouts.)
