Published by Commodore for its very enthusiastic user base, and produced by a small editorial staff and an even smaller art department, Commodore Magazine was full of tips, tricks, software reviews, and do-it-yourself programming. Our two-person art team assembled the monthly 128-page magazine at a time when typesetting was ordered from a type house, wrapping copy required cutting it apart by hand, and illustrations were commissioned from real illustrators because at that time buying art online from royalty-free websites would have been something out of science fiction.
